Daphne “Venice” Fisher Rollins, 75, of Augusta passed away April 10, 2019, at her residence. A private funeral service and burial will be held for Mrs. Rollins at a later date.
Born November 27, 1943 in Tifton, Mrs. Rollins was the daughter of Daphne Wheless Fisher of Atlanta and the late James Homer Fisher. Before retiring, she was a school teacher and she was of the Methodist faith.
In addition to her mother, Venice leaves behind a loving husband, Roy “George” Rollins of August; a step-daughter, Dana Sellers; two sons and daughters-in-law, Bradford Wheless and Anita Surrett and James Hylton and Sarah Surrett of Indiana; five granddaughters, Alex Surrett, Morrighan Surrett, Rowan Surrett, Mia Surrett and Hannah Surret; one great-grandson, Aizen Eberhardt; and one brother, Jim Fisher of Atlanta.
