Obituary

WEBSTER - Alan S. Rusack, 62, died peacefully Saturday, April 13, 2019 in Brookside Rehabilitation & Nursing Center with his loving family at his side.

He leaves a daughter, Erika F. Lundy and her husband Gregory of Dudley; a son, Joshua A. Rusack of Worcester; 3 grandchildren, Alexandria, Rosalie and Tobias Lundy; a sister, Barbara J. Lucas and her husband Robert of Florida; a brother, Paul R. Rusack and his wife Thelma of Winchester, CA; an aunt, Ann Fowler of Dudley; his former wife and caregiver in his final illness, Carol A. (Grzyb) Cooke of Dudley; his best friend, Tony Leo of Webster; nephews, nieces, cousins and many friends. He was preceded in death by a sister, Jane Raney of Texas in 2004.

He was born in Webster, the youngest child of Roy L. Rusack, Jr. and Shirley A. (Kaminski) Rusack and first lived in Oxford before moving to Dudley in 1962. He then resided in Webster and Dudley all his life. He graduated from Shepherd Hill Regional High School in Dudley in 1975.

Alan worked for Park ‘N’ Shop in Webster as the manager of the meat department. He then was a truck driver for Leo’s Construction in Webster for many years.

Mr. Rusack enjoyed golfing, listening to country music, going to concerts at Indian Ranch and spending time with his friends.

Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday, April 16, from 7:00 to 9:00 PM in the Sitkowski & Malboeuf Funeral Home, 340 School Street, Webster. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
