WEST NEWFIELD- Diane M. Farnsworth, age 66, passed away on April 11th, 2019, at the Gosnell Memorial Hospice House after a brief illness.
She was born in Beverly, Massachusetts on October 12, 1952, a daughter of the late William and Gertrude Connors. Right after graduating from Danvers High School, Diane went on and finished her training as a Licensed Practical Nurse at the Beverly Hospital School of Nursing in August of 1971.
Originally from Danvers, Diane married Paul Farnsworth and lived in North Reading Massachusetts and then West Newfield Maine.
Diane enjoyed Family, Cooking and Gardening.
For over Forty years Diane has been practicing nursing at the bedside, with her patients and residents becoming a part of her family. Diane was a very intelligent and compassionate nurse, who showed measureless empathy when caring for those assigned to her charge. She was most recently employed as a nurse at Mountain View Community Nursing and Rehab Center in Ossipee New Hampshire.
Diane is survived by her Husband Paul Farnsworth; her children-Erik Farnsworth of Middleton, Massachusetts; and Shawna Farnsworth and Jon Fredriksen of Beverly, Massachusetts; sister Susan Hatch of Roxbury Massachusetts and Steven Hatch of Florida; brother Tim Connors; sister JoAnn Connors of Arizona; Several Nieces and Nephews; and two grandchildren-Isabella Farnsworth and Luke Farnsworth, both of Melrose Massachusetts.
A celebration of life service will be held at a future date.
