WORCESTER-Dorothy A. (Killoran) Ferraro, 69 of 180 Wildwood Avenue died Wednesday, June 26th in Worcester. She leaves her husband of 46 years, Francis E. Ferraro; a son, Francis E. Ferraro, Jr. of Worcester; 5 daughters, Cathy Mulhearn, Patricia Bennette, Lori Ferraro all of Worcester, Christine McCullough of Auburn, and Lisa Devereaux of Leicester; a sister Edith Marrone of West Boylston; 12 grandchildren and many nephews and nieces.
She was born in Worcester the daughter of Patrick and Mary (Carney) Killoran and lived in Worcester for many years. She graduated from Ascension High School and St. Vincent School of Nursing. Mrs. Ferraro was a registered nurse at the Hermitage Nursing Home for many years retiring in 1995. Previously, she worked as a registered nurse at St. Vincent Hospital. She was a member of our Lady of the Angels Church.
The funeral will be held Saturday, June 29th from O’Connor Brothers Funeral Home, 592 Park Avenue with a mass at 10:00 AM in Our Lady of the Angels Church, 1222 Main Street. Burial will be in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. Calling hours will be Friday, June 28th from 6:00 until 8:00 PM in the funeral home.
