Beloved mother Lucy Bragg of Bellingham, Ann Belanger of Haverhill, Michael Carrabba and his wife Marianne of Brighton and the late Chelsea Fire Dept. Lieut. Anthony Carrabba. Dear mother-in-law of Carolyn (Cooley) Carrabba of Revere. Anna was predeacesed by 7 sisters and 2 brothers. Cherished grandmother of 10 and great grandmother of 14. Lovingly survived by many nieces and nephews. Family and friends are kindly invited to attend a Funeral from the Smith Funeral Home, 125 Washington Avenue, CHELSEA on Friday morning, January 6th at 10 AM followed by a Graveside Service in Woodlawn Cemetery, 302 Elm Street, EVERETT at 11 o'clock. Visiting Hours in the Smith Funeral Home on Thursday evening from 7-9 PM.
Anna, age 98, passed away after a brief illness at the Easpointe Nursing Care Center on Central Avenue, where she had been a resident for over 8 years.
Born in Ballinamuck, County Langford, Ireland, she along with her family came to the United States, settling in New York when she was 15 years of age. After her marriage to Antonio, she and her husband came to the Chelsea area, where she resided until her passing.
