Obituary

LOS ANGELES-Vivian W. Williams, 50, died Saturday, November 26th in Los Angeles surrounded by family and friends. She is survived by her mother, Amanda (Hanna) Williams, three sisters, Lydia Fortune and Gwen, wife of Gordon T. Davis all of Worcester and Joan Williams of New York. Ms. Williams also leaves four nieces and three nephews, Tasha Conner, Stephanie Beam, Kendrah Davis, Amber Beam, Gordon Jon Davis, Shawn and Michael Beam.

She was born in Ayer, her father was the late John Williams. Ms. Williams attended Howard University in Washington, D.C. and had spent the last 24 years as a Customer Service Representative for the Los Angeles Metropolitan Transit Authority. She will be dearly missed by family, friends and co-workers.

The funeral is Saturday, January 7th at 10:00 AM in O’CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue, Worcester. Burial will be in Hope Cemetery, Worcester. A memorial gathering was held in California by extended family and friends. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, 10 Brookline Place West, Brookline, MA 02445.
