Timothy D. "Timmy" McLaughlin, a lifelong resident of Charlestown, entered into eternal life on Thursday, April 4, 2019 at The Boston Medical Center in Boston. He was 47 years of age.
Timmy was born in Boston on October 24, 1971, a son of the late John E. McLaughlin and Theresa L. (Caldwell) McLaughlin. He grew up in Charlestown where he was educated in the Boston Public School system. Timmy worked as a painter and was a former member of the Painters Union. He enjoyed fishing in his spare time.
Timmy is the beloved husband of the late Jillian M. (Doherty) McLaughlin. He is the beloved father of Jaden McLaughlin, Ava McLaughlin and Peyton McLaughlin. He is the devoted brother of John McLaughlin and his wife Sandy and Mandy Simmons and her husband Bob. He is the loving uncle to Annie, Katie, Samantha and Marissa. He is the beloved son-in-law of Joseph Doherty and Frances (Nardone) Doherty and brother-in-law of Paul and Jamie. He is the beloved nephew of Ralph Caldwell, Butch McLaughlin, Roseanne Roberto, Kevin Simpson and Tommy Simpson. He is the loving cousin to Kathy Shea and his many other cousins.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend Timmy's visiting hours on Tuesday morning, April 9, 2019 from 9 A.M. to 10:30 A.M. in The Carr Funeral Home, 220 Bunker Hill St. Charlestown followed by his Funeral Mass in St. Francis De Sales Church, 313 Bunker Hill St. Charlestown at 11 A.M. His burial will be at Holy Cross Cemetery in Malden.
