Marguerite C. Tierney (Shea), age 90, of Canton passed away April 3rd at the Milton Hospital surrounded by her loving family. Born and raised in Dorchester, she graduated from Jeremiah Burke High School, Class of 1945. She worked as a Secretary for the Boston College School of Education for 25 years before retiring. She has lived in Canton for the last 18 years and previously lived in Roslindale and Hyde Park. In her free time she enjoyed spending time with her family and going to the beach.
Beloved wife of 39 years to Francis P. (Retired BFD). Mother of Kathleen M. Donahoe and her husband Bernard of Canton, Francis M. Tierney and his wife Deborah of Attleboro, Elaine M. Tradd and her husband Stephen of Foxboro, Michael E. Tierney (BFD) and his wife Ellen of Scituate and her late baby angel Joseph Tierney. Also survived by 11 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. Visiting hours at the Dockray & Thomas Funeral Home 455 Washington St. Canton Sunday from 4-8 pm. Funeral Mass at St. Gerard Majella Church, 1860 Washington St., Canton Monday morning at 10.
