Paxton – Ernest P. Frappier, 91, of Paxton formerly of Worcester and Buzzards Bay died on Monday January 2 in the Jewish Health Care Center after an illness.
Mr. Frappier is survived by his wife of 64 years Helen (Barnicle) Frappier; a son James Frappier; a daughter Virginia Frappier all of Paxton; a brother Louis Frappier of Grafton and several nephews and nieces. Mr. Frappier is predeceased by three brothers George, Roland and Norman Frappier and four sisters Aurora Frappier, Louise Michaud, Rose Frappier and Elizabeth Fournier.
He was born in Worcester son of Henry and Emma (Dulmaine) Frappier and graduated from Worcester Boy’s Trade School where he studied carpentry. Mr. Frappier is a veteran of the United States Army serving in World War II and was a prisoner of war in Germany.
He was a self employed general contractor and enjoyed boating, fishing and the outdoors.
The funeral will be held on Thursday January 5 from the Alfred Roy & Sons Funeral Home 12 Hammond St. Worcester with a mass at 11 AM in Saint Peter’s Church 931 Main St. Burial will be in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. Calling hours are from 4 to 7 PM on Wednesday January 4 in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Saint Jude’s Children Research Hospital 501 Saint Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105 or to a charity of the donor’s choice.
