Obituary

Carl Clinton Reck, 79, of Daleville, died on March 29, 2019 at Community Hospital in Anderson following an extended illness.
He was born on May 20, 1939 in Delaware County, IN to Jesse and Irene (Hunter) Reck. He was in the 1957 graduating class at Yorktown High School. He also served in the National Guard Reserve.
He was an entrepreneur who owned Kathy's Bike Shop, The Bicycle Depot and Petticoat Junction from 1978-2017. He was hardworking, loved cycling, farming and square dancing. He was a member of Mt. Pleasant Church in Daleville.
Survivors include his three children, Chris (Mary) Reck and Carla (Bill) Bingham all of Anderson, and Calvin (Lisa) Reck of Indianapolis; two brothers, Charles Reck of Yorktown and David Reck of Daleville; longtime companion, Chris Wilson of Connersville; three grandchildren, Curtis Reck of Indianapolis, Amanda (Jake) Donnelly of Anderson; Ashleigh Bingham of Indianapolis; two great-grandchildren, Leighla and Leland Donnelly; and several nieces and nephews.
Proceeded in death by his parents, Jesse and Irene Reck.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, April 4, 2019, at 10 a.m. at Mt. Pleasant Church in Daleville with Pastor Ken Mishler officiating. Burial of cremated remains will follow at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery.
