Mr. Robert A. Connelly, a resident of Medford and beloved husband of Elizabeth A. (Murphy) Connelly, passed away at the Sawtelle Family Hospice House in Reading on Thursday evening, March 28, 2019. He was 58 years old.
Robert was born in Boston, Massachusetts, on March 28, 1961. He was employed by the City of Medford as a Janitor for the Roberts Elementary School, for many years. He loved following the Bruins and was a very devoted husband, father and grandfather. He will be dearly missed.
Besides his beloved wife, Elizabeth, he is survived by his loving children; Robert J. Connelly and his girlfriend Kayla E. Hennigan, both of Medford and Patrick A. Connelly of Medford, granddaughter; Riley E. Connelly of Medford, father-in-law; John P. Murphy of Peabody and several nieces and nephews.
His Funeral Service will be celebrated in the Beals-Geake-Magliozzi Funeral Home, 29 Governors Avenue, Medford on Tuesday, April 2, 2019, at 10 AM. Relatives and friends are most welcome to attend. Visiting hours will be held on Monday, April 1, 2019, from 4 to 8 PM. Interment will be held in the Oak Grove Cemetery in Medford.
