Florence Coyle, 85, formerly of Methuen, MA died Saturday, December 31, 2005 in the Pleasant Valley Nursing Home in Derry, NH after an extended period of failing health. She was born in Liverpool, England on September 25, 1920, the daughter of the late Samuel and Elizabeth (Cheetham) Dobson. She lived in Liverpool most of her life and came to the United States in 1977 and settled in Methuen. Prior to her retirement, Mrs. Coyle was employed as an assembler by the Bandwagon Co. of Wilmington, MA. Her husband, John Coyle, died in 1997.
She is survived by a daughter, Brenda Dutton of Londonderry, NH, a son, John Coyle and his wife, Sue, of Liverpool, England, six grandchildren, Paul Dutton, Steven Dutton, Neil Coyle, Julie Dutton, David Dutton and Laura Coyle.
Calling hours were on Sunday, January 8th from 3 to 4 PM at the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 290 Mammoth Rd., Londonderry. A funeral service was held at 4 PM in the funeral home.
