Obituary

Walter G. Bing, 43, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family and friends on Sunday, January 1, 2006, in The Hospice on Coes Pond. He leaves his wife of 15 years, Colleen (Brennan) Bing; a son, Joshua D. Bing; his father, Carl Bing of Foxboro; a sister, Robin and her husband Robert Conrad of Mansfield; his mother-in-law, Josie Brennan; 2 brothers-in-law; Francis Brennan of Worcester and Joseph Brennan of Auburn, 2 nephews, Matthew and Thomas Conrad; a niece, Toni Brennan; and his grandmother, Ina Marchand of Buzzards Bay. His mother, Brenda (Marchand) Bing, passed away in 2005.

Walter was born in Chelsea and graduated from Norwood High School in 1981 and attended Bridgewater State College. He worked for Intel Corporation for over 16 years. He was a member of Bibleway Baptist Church and the Worcester Pistol and Rifle Club. Walter was an avid sportsman who enjoyed hunting, fishing, and being outdoors.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, January 5th in Bible Way Baptist Church, 18 Heard Street. Burial will be in Worcester County Memorial Park in Paxton. Calling hours will be held from 7-9 p.m. on January 4th in Nordgren Memorial Chapel, 300 Lincoln St. Flowers may be sent or Memorial contributions may be made in Walter’s name to Buckmasters American Deer Foundation, 1 Shot Chapter, 6683 Raymond Ave, Oneida, NY, 13421 ATTN.
