MASHPEE, MA… Bennett E. Ashbaugh, 71, of Mashpee passed away March 16, 2019 at St. Luke’s Hospital in New Bedford.
He was the loving husband of Brigitte (Sharrow) Ashbaugh.
Born in Natrona Heights, PA, he was a son of the late Eugene B. and Edna (Williams) Ashbaugh.
Mr. Ashbaugh was a 20-year retiree of the United States Airforce where he had achieved the rank of Master Sergeant. Following retirement from the Armed Forces, he had opened the former Pakmail shipping and packing store in Englewood, FL. He loved Boating.
Along with his wife, survivors include his daughter: Jennifer Ashbaugh of Sandwich; his son: Edward Ashbaugh and his wife Christina of Pocasset; his grandchildren: Lisa Ashbaugh, Cheri Ashbaugh, Alex Bohanna and Alexis Bohanna; his sisters: Bernice Clark, Norma Newlon and Lynnette Shaefer; several nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Ted Ashbaugh.
