Obituary

Antoinette M. (Vandale) Daunais, 94, of Howe Village, died Sunday,
Jan. 1 at Life Care Center of Auburn.
She was the wife of Lucien Daunais who died in 1987. She leaves a daughter
Suzanne M. and her husband Edward Douty of Sturbridge, a son Paul W. and his
wife Holley Daunais of Indianapolis, Ind., three grand children Keith Douty
of Spencer , Wade Douty of Cape Coral, Fl. and Joyal Daunais of Murfeesboro,
Tenn., 6 great grand children, nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Daunais was a shoeworker at the former Thom McCann Warehouse in
Worcester before retiring in 1975. She was a member of St. Mary's Church and
its St. Anne's Sodality, former member of St. Mary's Women's Guild, Howe
Village Social Club and Golden Age Club of Spencer.
Born in Spencer, she was the daughter of Marcel and Albina (Carbonneau)
Daunais.
The funeral will be held Friday, Jan. 6 from the J.HENRI MORIN & SON FUNERAL
HOME, 23 Maple Terr., Spencer with a Mass at 10 a.m. in St. Mary's Church,
60 Maple St., Spencer. Burial will follow in Worcester County Memorial Park,
Paxton. A Calling hour will be held on Friday from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. In lieu
of flowers, contributions may be made to Spencer Rescue Squad, P.O. Box 147,
Spencer, Ma. 01562.
