Obituary

Mr. Bruce P. Hale, a resident of Salem, New Hampshire, formerly of Andover, passed away at the Holy Family Hospital in Methuen on Saturday morning, March 23, 2019. He was 66 years old. Mr. Hale was the former Plumbing & Gas Inspector for the Town of Andover for 26 years.

Born in Methuen, Massachusetts, on March 16, 1953, he was the beloved son of the late Philip and Jocelyn A. (Boie) Hale. Mr. Hale was active in his community holding fundraisers and volunteering for a variety of charities. Bruce was a graduate of the Andover High School, class of 1971. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, fishing, hunting and playing golf. He had served as the President of the Plumbing Inspector & Gas Association and a former Exulted Ruler of the Lawrence Elks Lodge. He will be dearly missed.

He is survived by his loving children; Philip J. Hale of North Grafton, James D. and his wife Danielle Hale of Peabody and Courtney J. and her husband John A. Iorio of Andover, girlfriend; Tracy Turner of Salem, New Hampshire, siblings; Lynne and her husband Richard Robidoux of Andover and Scott Hale and fiance Catherine Radulski of Methuen, grandchildren; Graham and Luke Hale and Elizabeth Iorio, niece and nephew; Kara L and her husband Pierre Levesque of Sandown, New Hampshire and Richard Robidoux of Andover; great nephew; Jake Levesque of Sandown, New Hampshire, former spouse and friend, Jamie A Hale of Dracut, Massachusetts and many cousins and friends.


Calling hours will be held in the Burke-Magliozzi Funeral Home, 390 North Main Street, Andover on Wednesday, March 27, 2019, from 4 to 7 PM. Relatives and friends are most welcome to attend.
