Obituary

Michelle Lee (Walton) Robichaud age 44 passed away March 23, 2019 after a tremendous battle against Inflammatory Breast Cancer.

She was born in Portland, Maine on December 8, 1974 daughter of Darrell and Pamela (Ewer) Walton.

Michelle graduated in 1993 from Foxcroft Academy in Dover-Foxcroft, Maine; Michelle joined the Army in 1995 and was honorably discharged when she was injured during her training as an MP.

Michelle worked as a waitress, bartender and manager in both fields. And if that wasn’t enough she also worked cleaning summer homes in the local area, she continued working in those fields, sometimes all three when she relocated to Sanford, Maine 2013.

On May 28, 1997 Michelle delivered her 1st daughter Jordan then on January 22, 2002 she brought another treasure into the world daughter Desiree.

Michelle’s favorite memories are camping and fishing at her favorite spot, Rock Pond, with her Dad, Mom, Mimi, Gramps as well as many other family members. Michelle loved spending summers getting away if only for an hour at time riding on the back of her husband’s Harley.

Michelle touched so many lives while she was with us, when you met her you just knew there was something extra special about her, from her contagious smile to her genuine interest in who you were. Her daughters and family were the most important things to Michelle. She always made sure her girls and family were taken care of 1st and was always willing to lend a hand and give her time to others no matter how much she had going on in her own life.

Michelle finally found the love of her life and for 7 years made him happier than he ever was before she came into his life, they were married October 4th 2014. Michelle is the strongest, bravest person we have ever known. She came into this world 2 months early fighting for her life, she fought harder than anyone should ever have to from the 1st day she learned she had cancer until she took her last breath.

She was taken from us far too soon and we all may be breaking a little inside but we are all better for having known her. She will be missed greatly by all!

She is predeceased by her grandfathers Robert Ewer (Papa) and Harry Walton (Gramps); Aunts Debra Shannon and Anita Ewer; Uncle Aaron Ewer.

Michelle is survived by her husband - Patrick Robichaud; daughters Jordan, Desiree, and Amanda (stepdaughter); parents Darrell and Pamela Walton (Ewer); grandmothers Avis Ewer and Iona Walton.

A celebration of life has been planned for family and friends in southern part of Maine April 6th at Above & Beyond Catering located at the Town Club in Sanford, Maine at 12pm.

For family and friends in the northern part of Maine April 7th at the American Legion in Dover-Foxcroft, Maine at 1pm.
