Deborah Ann (Debbie) Rumsey Baker, 45, of West Golden Road in Tifton, died Saturday, December 31, 2005, at Tift Regional Medical Center. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, January 4, 2006, at 11:00 a.m. at Pineview Holiness Baptist Church. The Rev. Silas Carver will officiate with burial to follow in the church cemetery.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday morning at 10:30 a.m. at Pineview Holiness Baptist Church.
Born June 3, 1960, in Ithaca, New York, Mrs. Baker was the daughter of Russell Rumsey and Elise Doering Rumsey of Anthony, FL. A homemaker and former area supervisor with McDonald's Corporation, Mrs. Baker had lived in Tifton for almost 19 years.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by her husband Michael W. Baker of Tifton, whom she married on February 2, 1980, almost 26 years ago; a son, Travis S. Baker of Tifton, a brother and sister-in-law; John and Kim Rumsey of Trabuco Canyon, CA; a sister and brother-in-law, Barbara and Joseph Brister of Immokalee, FL; two nephews, Jared and Nicholas Rumsey; and one niece, Sierra Brister.
