Vernie Bostic, age 85, of Canton passed away March 17th at home surrounded by his loving family. Born and raised in Trinidad, he graduated from Boys Roman Catholic High School in Trinidad. After immigrating to the United States he resided in Mattapan before moving to Canton in 1991. He worked as a Diesel Mechanic for H.P Hood in Charlestown for many years and later for Paolini Construction in Newton before retiring. In his retirement Vernie found enjoyment in: spending time and keeping in touch with his family both here and back in Trinidad; being a grandfather; and seeing to his home.
