Rose A. (Caron) Wilde, 89, of New Bedford died March 17, 2019 peacefully at St. Luke's Hospital.
She was the wife of the late Ernest W. Wilde.
Born in New Bedford, the daughter of the late Edmond and Maria (Quin) Caron, she lived in New Bedford all of her life.
Mrs. Wilde was a member of St. Martin's Episcopal Church.
She enjoyed volunteering at St. Martin's Food Pantry, playing Bingo and visits with the nuns from Missionaries of Charity.
Survivors include her daughter, Terri-Lynn Wilde of New Bedford; 3 sons, Pete Wilde, Mike Wilde and Dave Wilde, all of New Bedford; 15 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
She was the sister of the late Irene Lowney, Pete Caron, Ed Caron and Joseph "Rene" Boudreau.
Her Funeral Service will be held on Friday, March 22nd at 11 AM in the Saunders-Dwyer Home For Funerals, 495 Park St. New Bedford. Burial will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery. Visiting hours Thursday, March 21st from 4-8 PM. In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to St. Martin's Church Food Pantry 136 Rivet St., New Bedford, MA. 02744.
