Hardin of Bridgewater formerly of Brockton December 30, 2005 Virginia M. “Gini”(Severence) Hardin 71 years. Wife of the late Thomas Hardin. Mother of Deborah Foster of Bridgewater; Will Walbridge of Brockton; Jack Walbridge and his wife Terri of Slidell, LA; Renee Andrade and her husband Arlindo of Port Richey, FL; Greg Clark and his wife Kelly of Bridgewater and Thomas Hardin of Brockton. Also survived by 16 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and 7 nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be in the Conley Funeral Home 138 Belmont Street (Rte 123) Brockton Monday 4-8 pm. Cremation will follow. Burial of ashes will be in the Cemetery on the Green, Middleboro at a later date. Following the committal a gathering will be held at the East Side Improvement Mystic Ave., Brockton. In lieu of flowers donations in memory of Gini may be made to Cystic Fibrosis 220 N. Main St. Suite 104, Natick, MA 01760.
Obituary
Mrs. Hardin died Friday afternoon at her home following a lengthy illness. She was born and raised in Quincy a daughter of the late Harold and Bertha (Mortimer) Severence.
For the past two years she had been a resident of Bridgewater previously living for many years at Battles Farm Village in Brockton.
Mrs. Harding retired from the Brockton VA Medical Center after 20 years as a nursing assistant and alcohol therapist.
She enjoyed playing bingo and had been a member of the East Side Improvement Association for over 25 years.
She is survived by her children Deborah Foster of Bridgewater; Will Walbridge of Brockton; Jack Walbridge and his wife Terri of Slidell, LA; Renee Andrade and her husband Arlindo of Port Richey, FL; Greg Clark and his wife Kelly of Bridgewater and Thomas Hardin of Brockton. One brother Harold “Buddy” Severance of Springfield, Missouri
She is also survived by 16 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and 7 nieces and nephews.
She was the wife of the late Thomas Hardin and sister of the late Neil and Raymond Severance and Dorothy Schaeffer
