Obituary

NATICK: Canny Shui Wah (Tam) Chan, of Morgan Drive, passed away on Tuesday, March 12, 2019 in her home, survived by her beloved husband, Cliff Chan.

Canny was born on December 4, 1958 in Hong Kong to Tak Shing Tam and Wai Chan Lo. She studied at Cognitio College in Hong Kong, and not only had a love for learning, but was incredibly smart. In 1987, she married her loving husband, Cliff. They immigrated to the U.S. in 1989, and bravely founded their new lives there. They had their daughter, Jolie, in 1991, and from there on out, it was the three of them. Canny had the travel bug, and encouraged her family to explore the beauty in the U.S., and all over the world. Canny was warm, loving, and always smiling, and people were drawn to her calm demeanor.

She is survived by her loving daughter, Jolie Chan and her fiancé Brad Lepak of Boston, and her siblings: Michael Tam, Matthew Tam, Bonnie Tam and Amy Choi.

Visiting hours at the John Everett & Sons Funeral Home, 4 Park Street, Natick Common, Natick, MA 01760 on Saturday, March 16th from 9:00-10:45A.M. A funeral service will follow in the funeral home at 11:00 A.M. Memorial contributions may be made to the National Parks Foundation.
