Mary M. Corrado, passed away peacefully at the Winchester Nursing Care Center, Winchester on December 29, following a extended illness. She was the wife of the late Louis A. Corrado.
Born eighty-six years ago in Italy, she was the daughter of the late Lucia (Guiliano) and John Gregorio. She was raised an educated in Malden. After her marriage to Louis she settled in Medford where her main focus in life was to raise her children. She was a affectionately known by her family and friends as “Lovey” for all the care love and affection she gave to and shared with her family and friends. Active in the St. Raphael Community, she particiapted in the sodality, church bazar and the parent teacher association. Most of all she cherished her grandchildren and most recent love her great granddaughter.
Surviving are her daughter Lucille A. Capraro and her husband Ted of Medford, two sons, Louis A. Corrado Jr. and his wife Carolyn of Natick and David A. Corrado and his wife Carol of Southbury, CT., one sister Josephine Tocco and her husband Mario of Reading and her brother Louis Gregorio and his wife Frances of Reading. Also ten loving grandchildren and one great great granddaughter.
Her funeral will be held from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St. Medford on Tuesday, January 3, at 9 a.m. followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Raphael Church, 512 High St. Medford at 10. Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
