Obituary

Dianne J. Fuoroli, 76 of North Scituate, died peacefully at home on Sunday, March 3, 2019, surrounded by the love of her whole family. She was a devoted wife to her husband, Ron, for fifty years.

Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Rosario “Sal” and Anna (Balletto) Corio.

Dianne was the most comfortable in her kitchen, where she enjoyed cooking and baking her famous “Chocolate Chip Cookies” for all of her family and friends. She loved going fishing with her husband and son. She was a self-taught hair colorist and stylist, which both of her daughters inherited by nature. She also loved bird watching and had a green thumb for growing beautiful house plants. She most of all loved playing the penny slot machines with her husband, family and friends. She somehow always managed to come out ahead or break even.

Besides her husband, she is survived by her beloved son, Ron Fuoroli of Cranston, twin daughters, Christine Valeriana of Glocester and Dawn Dexter and her husband, Carl of Greenville, and her three step-grandsons. She is also survived by her loving siblings, Debra Walker and her husband, Jim of Topsfield, Maine and Frances Scrivner and her husband, Jim, of Brookings, Oregon, David Corio and his wife, Carole of Westlake Village, California, and Peter Corio and his wife, Sharon, of Topsfield, Maine. She also had many special nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws, and friends.

Funeral will be private, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the North Scituate Fire Station #1 and the American Cancer Society.
