NATICK: Margaret “Maggie” T. McLaughlin, 84, of Natick passed away on March 7th after a long battle with progressive dementia, she was surrounded by the love of her family.
Beloved wife and best friend of the late John “Jack” McLaughlin.
Proud mother of John (Rachel), Kevin (Guy) and Neil (Nina). Loving grandmother to Meghan, Rose, Sydney and Rylie.
Born in Ireland, Maggie immigrated to the United States when she was 18 years old. In New York she met her beloved Jack, they married and moved to Natick, where they raised their three sons and lived many happy years.
Maggie was most proud of her Irish heritage, she especially loved Ceili dancing with Jack and could always be counted on for an Irish lullaby and her amazing Irish soda bread.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral on Wednesday, March 13 at 9:00 A.M. from the John Everett and Sons Funeral Home, 4 Park Street, at Natick Common followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Theresa Parish, 35 S. Main Street, Sherborn, MA 01770 at 10:00 A.M.
Visiting hours are Tuesday from 4:00 to 7:00 P.M. in the Funeral Home.
