Shrewsbury – Robert W. Curnin, 51 of Fitchburg and formerly of Worcester died on Sunday, February 24th in the UMass Memorial Medical Center – University Campus from injuries that he sustained in a pedestrian accident on Route 9 in Shrewsbury.
Mr. Curnin is survived by his mother, Betty Lou Bergeron of Maine; his two brothers, John F. Curnin III of Florida and Theodore Bergeron of Worcester; his six sisters, Judith Curnin of Marstons Mills, MA, Patricia Lee of Florida, Sharon Fitton of Leicester, Roberta Wombach of Worcester, Deborah Zona of Lincoln, Rhode Island and Donna Hayes of Danielson, CT. He is also survived by his fiancé, Leeann Hartwell of Fitchburg and many nephews and nieces.
Mr. Curnin was a Boston teams’ sports fan, liked fishing, gardening, cooking and was an animal lover and is greatly missed by his dog Bella Monet and cat Boo.
A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, March 12th at 10 AM in the Alfred Roy & Sons Funeral Home 12 Hammond Street Worcester.
