Marie T. (Ferraguto) Siracusa, of Medford, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family on Thursday, February 28th. She was 85. Born in Boston, and raised in Medford, she was the daughter of the late Gaetano and Rose (Carrabino) Ferraguto.
Marie loved to spend time with her family. She especially loved her grandchildren, they were her world. Marie enjoyed cooking and baking, everything was made from scratch. When Marie was not spending time with her family she enjoyed spending time and shopping with her six close childhood girlfriends. She enjoyed trips to the Amish country in Pennsylvania, cruises with her loving husband Anthony and winters on the beach in Florida.
Marie was the beloved wife of Anthony J. Siracusa. She was the devoted mother of Mark Siracusa and his wife Patricia, Lisa Siracusa Baxter, and Donna McCarthy and her husband John. She was the loving grandmother of Shannon, Jillian, Justin, Kendall, Matthew and Richard. She is also survived by many nieces, great nieces and nephew.
Her funeral will be from Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford, Wednesday, March 6th at 9 AM followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Francis Of Assisi Church, 441 Fellsway West, Medford, at 10 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Tuesday 2 - 5 PM. Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
