Anne Marie (Mumblo) Cabana, age 81, was called home on Feb. 24, 2019 from Baystate Medical Center, to be reunited with her late parents Stanton and Mary (Collina) Mumblo. Born in Springfield on Nov. 23, 1937, she was a 1955 graduate of Commerce High School. After graduation she worked at Springfield National Bank for 4 years. In 1976 she joined Baystate Medical Center where she worked for 20 years. Anne was a ballroom dancer, an award winning published poet, and the winner of 3 trophies her first year of bowling. Anne was predeceased by her son, Mark Charland, in 2010. She leaves her daughter, Linda Nicora of Ludlow; a sister Claire Messier and brother-in-law Roger of Chicopee and her brother Ronald Mumblo of Springfield; 3 grandchildren, Samantha Russo of Palmer, Corey and Nick of Charland and their mother Justina Leiter of Harwich, MA; 2 great grandchildren, Vanessa and Jax, several nieces and nephews, cousins and special friends Joyce, Vicki and Marie. Remember me as loving you. Calling hours will be held on the morning of the funeral, Wed., Feb. 27, 2019 from 10:00 – 11:00 AM at the Grise Funeral Home, 280 Springfield St, Chicopee, MA. There will be an in house prayer service at 11:00 AM followed by burial in St Michael's Cemetery on State St, Springfield.
