Obituary

Amber Dawn Lutz, 39, of Westford, MA passed away on February 15th, 2019 after suffering a pulmonary embolism. She was surrounded by family and was held with love by her mother.

Amber was born on August 20th, 1979 in Hot Springs, NC; grew up in Floyd, VA, and graduated Salutatorian of the 1997 class of Floyd Co. High School. She went on to graduate with honors from Virginia Commonwealth University with a degree in Forensic Biology. She was a very active Girl Scout; selling the most cookies in the VA Skyline G.S. council one year. She received the prestigious Gold Award as a Senior Girl Scout. Amber had a love for reading, movies, games, roller coasters, travel, and spending time with her family.

Amber is survived by her mother & stepfather; Karen Rain (Woodrow) & George Lipson of Floyd, VA, father & stepmother; Kevin & Kathy (Waechter) Lutz of Palmyra, PA, brother & sister-in-law; Cedar & Jenn (Patermo) Lutz of Lake Worth, FL, stepbrother; Matthew Gasper of Washington, DC, grandparents; Alan & Mary Jo Woodrow of Blackstone, MA, and Beverly Blake of Pinehurst, NC, aunts & uncles; Rhonda (Woodrow) & Greg Williams of Alamo, CA, Teri Woodrow & Mark Hennigan of Blackstone, MA, AJ Woodrow of Millville, MA, Linda Woodrow of Evergreen, CO, Tim & Kathy Lutz of Placentia, CA, Sam & Diana Lutz of Stanton, CA, nephew, Landon Patermo and nieces Lilly Rain & Emmy Lou Lutz of Lake Worth, FL, and many cousins. She was preceded in death by grandparents; Luke & Mary Lutz of Palmyra, PA, uncle; Stephen Woodrow of Evergreen, CO, and step-brother; Andrew Gasper of Palmyra, PA.

A celebration of Amber's life will be held in June in Floyd, VA. Date and details to be announced.
