Falmouth-Scott Andrew Fournier, age 49 of New Bedford and formerly of Winthrop, MA passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, February 17, 2019. He was the beloved husband of Robyn (Branco) Fournier and cherished father to Liam Fournier.
Scott was born at Andrews Air Force Base in Maryland and raised in Winthrop, MA to Maurice Andrew Fournier and the late Christine (Patterson) Adamson. Scott was a graduate of Winthrop High School and attended Merrimack College. He worked as a bartender for Soprano's Casino by the Sea in Falmouth and was an avid sports fan, especially Boston sports teams.
He is survived by his wife Robyn, son Liam of New Bedford, his dog, friend and loyal companion, Chula, his father Maurice and his wife Linda of Hayden, Idaho, sisters Karen Crosier and husband Scott of Colorado, Kim Fournier and David Begley of Weymouth, nephew Zachary Steffish; in-laws John and Maria Helena Branco, sister-in-law Melissa Branco of New Bedford, as well as several aunts, uncles and cousins. He is predeceased by his sister Suzanne.
In accordance with the family's wishes, funeral services will be private and placed in the care of Perry Funeral Home 111 Dartmouth St. New Bedford, MA 02740.
