Obituary

LOWELL—Alfredo Guerrero, 63 years old, a resident of Lowell for the past 10 years, died Sunday afternoon at his home after a battle with Lou Gehrig’s Disease. He was the husband of Hilda (Corletto) Guerrero, who survives him.

He was born in the Dominican Republic on March 20, 1939, a son of Emilia Mejia, of the Dominican Republic and the late Marcos Guerrero.

He had been employed as a Salesman in the Garment District, in New York for over twenty years.

Surviving him besides his wife and mother are five children: Raysa Silberberg, of Tewksbury; Teresa Soto, of Ridgewood, NY; Alfredo Guerrero, of the Dominican Republic; George Guerrero, of Lowell; and Ruth Guerrero, of Lowell; seven grandchildren: Denise Silberberg, Jocelyn Silberberg, Joshua Silberberg, Sandee Guerrero, Lord Alfred Guerrero, Robert Soto and Matthew Soto; brothers and sisters: Miguel, Marcos, Rafael, Federico, Isabel, Belgica Guerrero, Ines de Mejia, Maritza de Melendez, all of the Dominican Republic.

He was the father of the late Teresa E. Guerrero, who died in 1962, and the brother of the late Alejandro Guerrero.

Friends may call on Wednesday, June 26th, from 5 to 9 PM at the MAHONEY FUNERAL HOME, 187 Nesmith Street, (Rte. 38). There will be a Service Wednesday evening at 7:30 PM. Burial in the Westlawn Cemetery, Lowell.
