Stepfather of Shannon Tonello of Brockton and Edward Tonello of Cumberland, RI. Also survived by 11 grandchildren. Brother of Beatrice Christopolulos of Middleboro. Husband of the late Betty (Mowbray) Hatch.
Funeral Service in the Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont Street (Rte 123) Brockton Friday at 10 am. Burial in Knollwood Memorial Park, Canton. Visiting hours Thursday 4-8 pm.
Obituary
Mr. Hatch died unexpectedly Saturday at the Morton Hospital, Taunton. He was born in Hanover, a son of the late George and Mary (Whitmarsh) Hatch. He was raised, educated in Hanover and a graduate of Hanover High School. Attended Newman Prep, he received his Associates degree from Wentworth Institute and his BS in Engineering from Northeastern University. He was retired from Teradyne, Inc. in North Reading as an engineer. Previously he was employed by Honeywell-Bull and the Foxboro Company. During the mid 1950’s he served in the US Army. Mr. Hatch was devoted to his family, he enjoyed working in his garden and around the house.
He is survived by his wife MaryAnn (Paraschos) Hatch, a son, Russell J. Hatch and his wife Sara of Brockton; three daughters, Donna L. Hatch of Brockton; Allison M. Higgins and her husband Tom of Pembroke; Linda J. Almeida and her husband Genipro of Norton, MA. Two stepchildren, Shannon Tonello of Brockton and Edward Tonello of Cumberland, RI., 11 grandchildren, a sister Beatrice Christopolulos of Middleboro and many nieces and nephews.
He was the husband of the late Betty (Mowbray) Hatch and brother of the late Everett and Otis Hatch, Lil Nolan, Amelia Vaz and Marjorie Davis.
