In Taunton, Frank L. Tosti Jr., Age 87, passed away suddenly in Morton Hospital on February 16, 2019. Frank was the loving and devoted husband of the late Irene L. (Grant) Tosti. He was born in Taunton, the son of the late Frank L. Tosti Sr. and Irene M. (Bernard) Tosti. Frank resided in Taunton all his life, was educated in Taunton schools and a graduate of Coyle High School, he also attended Stonehill College. Frank served his country honorably during the Korean War in the U.S. Army. He was the owner of Tosti Realty Company in Taunton for almost fifty years. Frank was a communicant of the former St. Paul’s Church for 50 years, a Eucharistic minister, lector, Marian Medal recipient, Knights of Columbus Equestrian Order of the Knights of Holy Sepleca of Jerusalem, the past president of the Chamber of Commerce and Rotary Club, Founding director of the Taunton Literacy Council, Board of Directors Triumph and Head Start and Coyle & Cassidy High School dedicated the library in his honor, the “Frank L. Tosti Jr. Library. Frank also was an avid reader, enjoyed playing cribbage and spending time with his family. He is survived by his loving children, Richard Tosti and his wife Joan of Douglas, Sharon Lennon and her husband Stephen of Falmouth, Paula Lopes and her late husband James of South Dennis, Susan Tabak and her husband Scott of Taunton and his late son James Tosti and his fiance Deborah Cote of Taunton. He also leaves his 15 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren, and his loving companion Judy Fowler of Taunton. Frank also leaves his close cousin, Ronald A. Tosti of Mashpee. Funeral from the O’Keefe-Wade Funeral Home, 70 Washington St., Taunton, MA 02780 on Thursday, February 21st at 9:30am. Followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Ann’s Church in Raynham at 11am. Relatives and friends are also invited to visiting hours on Wednesday from 4-8pm. Burial will be in St. Francis Cemetery in Taunton.
