Obituary

Robert “Bob” White, 78, of Walpole and formerly Franklin passed away peacefully on February 16, 2019 with his family by his side at St. Elizabeth’s Hospital in Brighton.

Born in Westport on July 9, 1940, Bob was the son of the late James and Frances (Sheehan) White. He is survived by his wife Elaine (Bartlett) White, his five children Shelley Zicolella of Hopedale, Scott White of Foxboro, Brett White of Franklin, Dale White of Blackstone and Brenda White of Foxboro.

In addition, he leaves behind thirteen grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren.

Bob is also survived by his siblings John, Florence, Linda, Janet, Paula, Cindy, Debbie and was brother to the late Jay, Bruce, Richard and Jeffrey.

Bob was a proud Veteran of the United States Air Force. He worked as Foreman for Bird Machine Company in Walpole for 30 years.

As an accomplished pilot he enjoyed flying, gardening, woodworking, antiquing and spending time with family and friends. Bob was a truly kind and loving soul. He will be deeply missed by all.

A Memorial Service will be held at the Church of Emmanuel on Friday, February 22 at 11:30 a.m. in Foxboro. Following the service there will be a Celebration of his life at the Church.
