WORCESTER____Sally M. (Kasprzak) Roman, 87, of the Oakdale Rehabilitation & Skilled Care Center, West Boylston, formerly of 7 Electric Ave, Worcester, died Monday December 26 in St. Vincent Hospital at Worcester Medical Center. Her husband, John P. Roman died in 1990.
She leaves two daughters, Janet F. McCauley of Worcester and Diane M. wife of David Jeffers of Holden; a brother, Joseph Kasprzak and a sister, Lucy Drisco both of Worcester; five grandchildren, John McCauley, Paul McCauley, Kim Doherty, David Jeffers and Kristen Jenkins, thirteen great-grandchildren and nephews and nieces. She was born in Worcester, daughter of Felix and Josephine (Klimas) Kasprzak and lived here all her life.
Mrs. Roman worked as a stitcher 35 years for Stanley Sportswear Co., and retired in 1988. She was a member of Our Lady of Czestochowa Church and was active with the Age Center of Worcester Senior Activity programs.
The funeral will be held Thursday December 29 from HENRY-DIRSA FUNERAL HOME, 33 Ward St., with a Mass at 12 NOON in Our Lady of Czestochowa Church, 34 Ward St. Burial will be in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. A calling hour will be held on Thursday morning from 10:30 to 11:30 am in the funeral home.
