Patricia J. Levasseur, 61, of Salem, passed away on Wednesday, February 13, 2019 at Care One at Essex Park in Beverly after a lengthy illness.
Born in Salem in 1957, she was the daughter of the late John V. and Jeannette (Beauregard) Levasseur. She attended Salem schools and graduated from North Shore Community College. Patricia was employed for many years by Massachusetts Behavioral Health Partnership in Boston. She lived in Goffstown, NH for many years prior to moving back to Salem.
Patricia was an avid collector of dolls and books. She loved family gatherings, animals, photography and drum corps. She will be remembered as someone who never complained throughout her long illness.
Patricia leaves behind her sisters, Suzanne Soo Hoo and her husband Richard of Andover, Janice Iannarelli and husband Willis of Marblehead, her niece, Claudia Soo Hoo and husband Benjamin O’Leary and family of North Andover, and her nephew, Willis Iannarelli and wife Camie and family of Marblehead. She is also survived by her aunt, Theresa Beauregard of Connecticut and many cousins.
Relatives and friends are invited to gather at the Levesque Funeral Home, 163 Lafayette St. [Route 114 / 1-A] Salem on Wednesday, February 20, 2019 at 12:00 noon to be followed by her memorial service in the funeral home at 1:00 PM.
