Robert Lewis Buxton, 67 of Anderson died February 12, 2019 at his residence after an extended illness.
He was born April 10, 1951, in Anderson the son of Robert M. and Joann (Malone) Buxton.
Robert was a tool and die maker and electrician with General Motors.
His hobbies were home theater, yard work, woodworking and spending time in his workshop.
Robert is survived by his son, Eric (Stacie) Buxton of Daleville and daughter, Kelly Buxton of Indianapolis; two sisters, Barbara Baugher of Anderson and Jeannie McNally of Chesterfield and a brother, John Buxton of Indianapolis; three grandchildren, Blake Buxton, Emily Buxton and Alex Buxton; several nieces and nephews.
Robert was preceded in death by his parents and his beloved grandmother whom he called "Gram".
Service will be held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, February 19, 2019 at Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service with Ned Clark officiating.
Visitation will be Tuesday from 12 until the service at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be given to American Heart Association.
