Daniel L. Morel, age 67, of Swansea, passed away on Sunday February 10, 2019. He was the husband of the late Orpha (Herring) Morel, and son of the late Bernard and Helena (Laxdal) Morel. Daniel was a C.N.A for John Clark Nursing Home and the Grand Islander for many years. He was an avid motorcyclist, roller-skater, traveler, he enjoyed eating out with friends and family, and coffee hour at Dunkin Donuts.
He is survived by his children: Robert Halliday (wife Brenda), Amanda Ferreira (husband David), Laura Powell (husband Byron), James Halliday (wife Corissa), and Daniel Morel (wife Tiffany), sister: Judith Anston, 14 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren and 2 nephews.
Private funeral arrangements are under the direction of Manuel Rogers & Sons Funeral Home 1521 N. Main St. Fall River.
