Rita Marie DiOrio, 77, died Saturday, February 9, 2019 in Cherry Hill Nursing Home. She was the widow of Francisco “Frank” DiOrio.
Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Leda (Malo) Doire. Rita worked for many years as a real estate broker and owned lifestyle rentals.
She is survived by her granddaughter, Jessica R. Peterson, her great grandson, Daniel Peterson, Jr., as well as her siblings, Doris Santagata of Coventry, Paul Doire of Coventry and Joseph Doire of Florida and her many nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her son, George Leonard, Jr.
Visitation will be held Tuesday from 4-7 pm in the Anderson-Winfield Home, Greenville. Funeral services will be private.
