WELLESLEY -- Thomas P. Connors, 76, of Wellesley and Hutchinson Island, Stuart, Fla., died Saturday, Dec. 24, 2005, at the Bedford VA Hospital.
He was the husband of Lee F. (Smith) Connors.
Born in Boston, he was the son of the late James and Dorothy (Foley) Connors. He graduated from Roxbury Latin, Class of 1951, and Harvard University. He was a member of the Wellesley Country Club.
He was a Korean War veteran, having served with the U.S. Navy. He was also a retired president and founder of the T&L Association of Wellesley and former owner of the Federal National Linen Co. of Boston and Bell Linen Co., of Boston and Portland, Maine.
Besides his wife, he leaves his children, Deborah C. Smith and her husband, Austin, of Sudbury, Arthur J. Connors of Northborough, Diane L. Retzky and her husband, Michael, of Needham, Thomas P. Connors, Jr. and his wife, Lori, of Acton, and George P. Connors and his wife, Deborah of Dover; his brothers, John Connors of Chestnut Hill and Robert Connors of Wellesley, and 11 grandchildren.
He was the brother of the late James Connors and Jane Noonan.
His funeral will be held Thursday, Dec. 29, at 9 a.m., at the George F. Doherty and Sons Funeral Home, 477 Washington St. (Rte. 16), Wellesley, followed by a funeral Mass at 10 a.m., at St. Ignatius Church, Chestnut Hill.
Burial will be in Holyhood Cemetery in Brookline.
Visiting hours will be held Wednesday, Dec. 28, from 4 to 7 p.m.
