BELMONT---- Rita J. Sliva, 62, of Summit Drive, died Thursday, January 31, 2019 suddenly after a long illness at Concord Hospital.
Rita was born on November 21, 1956 in West Stewartstown, NH the daughter of the late Alfred J. Martineau and Laura (Baillargeon) Lafond. Rita worked for the New Hampshire Department of Health and Human Services for many years.
Rita enjoyed sewing, quilting, and gardening. She was also known for her sweet tooth.
Rita is survived by her husband of 35 years, Francis "Frank" Sliva; her daughter, Angela Sliva; and her sister, Claire Martineau.
Calling hours will be held on Saturday, February 16, 2019 from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Wilkinson-Beane-Simoneau-Paquette Funeral Home, 164 Pleasant Street, Laconia, NH, using the Carriage House entrance.
