Jeanne Francois (née Janvier), 92, of Randolph died on February 1st, 2019 in Milton, Massachusetts after a long illness.
Mrs. Francois was born on December 3rd, 1926 in Haiti to Ernest Janvier and Alice Jean Pierre. She married Monfort Francois on May 22nd, 1947 until his death in 2007 after 60 years of marriage. They raised 4 daughters and 7 sons. Mrs. Francois moved to Massachusetts in 1990 and was an avid sports fan, especially to the New England Patriots and the Boston Celtics. She was a devoted member of the Saint Angela’s Catholic Church and she never missed a mass until she fell ill. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother with a great sense of humor. She was one of the kindest people you could ever meet and she opened her heart and her home to everyone over the years. She was loved by all; especially her family and she will be sorely missed.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 60 years Monfort Francois in 2007 and her daughter Marie Helene Francois as a young child. She is survived by 11 children (Juslene, Linsfort and his wife Louisette, Milot and his wife Olvie, Judith, Ernest and his wife Damene, Jean Marie and his wife Bergenithe, Louis Marcel and his wife Maggy, Pierre Joseph, Roosvelt and his wife Regine, Patricia and her husband Ubald, Fabienne and her husband Jean Richard); 24 grandchildren (Pierre Marcel and his wife Yinka, Mesmine, Dova, Francoise, Ange Marie and her husband Reginald, Clifford, Ricardo and his wife Sakheni, Mylor and her husband, Daphne, Stephane and her husband Webner, Ergens and his wife, Georges Danny, Jean Rene, Darlin, Emmanuel, Dougly and her husband, Widlyne, Lancerre, Mitchel, Hirmine, Olivier, Neissa, Quincy, Anthony and Simon); 16 great-grandchildren (Jamar, Christopher, Nyla, Giselle, Brythanie, Brielle, Lydia, Ahmad, Tatiana, Yvenie, Kiara, Jahim, Stella, Ernst, Keellyam and Thaina).

The family will receive visitors on Friday, February 15th from 7:00-9:00 p.m. at the Joseph Russo Funeral home 814 American Legion Highway Roslindale, Massachusetts . A funeral Mass will be celebrated at Saint Angela's Catholic Church, 1540 Blue Hill Ave, Mattapan on Saturday February 16, at 10 A.M.
Burial will take place at Saint Michael Cemetery, Roslindale.
