Elmwood - William L. Bianchini, 55, of Elmwood, formerly of Bridgewater, died Saturday, December 24, 2005, at his home in Elmwood after a courageous battle with melanoma. He was the husband of Joann (Budren) Bianchini.
Born in Brockton, a son of Olga N. (Martelli) Bianchini and the late Louis P. Bianchini, he was raised and educated in Bridgewater.
Mr. Bianchini was a veteran of the U.S. Army during the Vietnam era.
He was employed in the shoe industry for 30 years as a shoe designer, most recently with Clarkâs Shoe Co. in Newton.
During those years, Mr. Bianchini traveled the world for shoe companies.
He enjoyed riding his Harley-Davidson and doing yard work at his home in Elmwood.
In addition to his wife and mother, he is survived by his daughter, Kim Bianchini of Elmwood; a brother, Robert Bianchini of Bridgewater; one niece and two nephews.
His funeral Mass will be in St. Thomas Aquinas Church, Center St., Bridgewater, Thursday at 9 am. Visiting hours omitted. Burial will be in St. Thomas Aquinas Cemetery.
