Hanna Hope Manning, 13 ½ months old, of Nashua, NH died Sunday February 3, 2019 in her mother’s arms while both were cradled by her father at Boston Children’s Hospital. Hanna was born in Boston, MA on December 23, 2017 and has battled with congenital heart disease since birth. She is the daughter of Taylor and Amanda (Buckley) Manning.
No matter what Hanna was going through she always had a smile on her face. Her smile would brighten up anyone’s day especially her best friends on 8 East. Her personality shined through others and her love for others was unconditional. She always knew how to keep the doctors and nurses on their toes with her "troubleness". Hanna has impacted many people even ones she never met. Hanna spent well over 220 days inpatient at Boston Children's Hospital and they have become family to us. Hanna's testimony will be carried on to other children like her spending time in the hospital. Hanna will be dearly missed but never forgotten.
Hanna is survived by her parents of Nashua, her paternal grandparents, Brian and Cheryl Manning of Chester, NH, her maternal grandparents, John and Brenda Buckley of Lowell, MA, and Hope and Tammy Hodge of Nashua, NH, her maternal great-grandmother’s, Nancy Whiting of Nashua, NH, and Joyce McCarthy of Bradford, VT, four uncles, Corey Buckley, Lucas McDowell, Patrick Manning, and Josh Robinson, three aunts, Natalia Manning, Lindsey Manning, and Kayla Robinson. She also leaves two cousins, Dominick Buckley, and Evangeline Manning.
A celebration of Hanna’s life was held on Saturday February 16, 2019 at 10:00am in the Fellowship Bible Church, 48 Rod & Gun Club Rd., Chester, NH. The family asks that you wear only bright colors, no black please. Food and fellowship followed in the church basement. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Joseph Middlemiss Big Heart Foundation, P.O. Box 428, Dracut, MA 01826. The Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium are assisting the family with arrangements.
