Johnny Walter Baldree, 62, of Tifton passed away Monday, February 4, 2019, at Tift Regional Medical Center. His funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, February 7, 2019, in the Chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals with the Rev. Robert Beggs officiating. Mr. Baldree will be laid to rest at Tift Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Wednesday, February 6, 2019, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals.
Zachary Anthony, Wesley Hall, Joshua Sutton, Chad Rodgers, Daniel Robbins and Wesley Hartsfield will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Albert Samples, James Baldree, Andy Bruner and Tim Bruner.
Born April 4, 1956 in Cook County, Mr. Baldree was the son of the late James Walter Baldree and Margaret Holder Baldree. He was also preceded in death by one brother and two sisters. He was of the Baptist faith.
Mr. Baldree is survived by his wife, Karen Irene Samples Baldree of Sycamore; two daughters and their spouses, Melissa Sutton and Nelson Duckworth of Tifton and Tabbathie and Mark Anthony of Sycamore; two sons and daughters-in-law, Robert and Jennifer Baldree of Ellenton and Charles and Brittany Baldree of Powder Springs; four grandchildren, Joshua Sutton, Jeremy and Rain Anthony, Zachary Anthony and Maggie Sutton; one sister and brother-in-law, Anna and John Turner of Tifton; two brothers, Jackie Baldree of Moultrie and James Baldree of Nashville; and numerous nieces and nephews.
