FALL RIVER – Joseph B. Faria, age 48 of Fall River, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, Feb. 4, 2019. Born in Fall River, he was the son of Jose and Maria (Barreira) Faria. Joseph was a long time Boston Union Carpenter. He loved fishing and tending to his chickens. Most of all he loved spending time with friends and family.
In addition to his parents of Fall River, Joseph leaves behind his son Joseph Faria Jr. of Fall River; girlfriend Jennifer Sylvia of Tiverton, her sons Michael and Zachary and grandchildren Aubrie and Teagan; brother Paul Faria (wife Iris) of Fall River; nieces Ivy Faria, Amanda, Samantha, Ashley and Jasmine Matos; great niece Abby Bouchard and godson Rylee Bouchard. As well as many aunts, uncles and cousins.
His funeral will take place from the Manuel Rogers & Sons Funeral Home, Inc. 1521 N. Main St. Fall River on Saturday here at 8:00 A.M. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in Good Shepherd Parish, S. Main St. Fall River at 9:00 A.M. Interment in St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Fall River.
