Brenda Drawdy Connell, 77, of Tifton passed away Monday, February 4, 2019, at her residence. Her funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 6, 2019, in the Chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals with the Rev. Michael Bennett and the Rev. Terrell Roberts officiating. Mrs. Connell will be laid to rest at Oak Ridge Cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday, February 5, 2019, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals.
Ed Giddens, Marlon Giddens, Wayman Giddens, Terry Danforth, Clayton Danforth and Damon Connell will serve as pallbearers.
Born November 23, 1941 in Berrien County, Mrs. Connell was the daughter of the late Clint Drawdy and Pauline Cranford Drawdy. She was also preceded in death by two brothers and one sister. She was a homemaker and a member of Pleasant Hill Missionary Baptist Church in Berrien County.
Mrs. Connell is survived by her husband, the Rev. Jackie Connell of Tifton; one son and daughter-in-law, Greg and Mindy Connell of Tifton; one daughter and son-in-law, Kay and Anthony Goodman of Tifton; one brother and sister-in-law, Merrill and Debbie Drawdy of Tifton; and five grandchildren, Kaycee Goodman, Kassidy Goodman, Hannah Connell, Samantha Connell and Stephanie Connell.
