Age 97 ~ Longtime Resident of North St. Paul. Passed away on January 29, 2019. Preceded in death by husband Rev. George & son Peter. Survived by children Philip & Martha (David) Hoekstra; granddaughters Kathleen & Kara (Michael) Thannert; & great-grandaughter Eleanor Thannert. Rosie lived her life to the fullest with love for God, family, friends, travel & laughter. She explored the world with travels to 5 of the 7 continents, including her trips to Machu Picchu & The Egyptian Pyramids. Rosie was a devoted homemaker and a longtime volunteer at St. John’s Hospital. Funeral Service Monday (2/4) 11:00 AM ST. MARK’S EV. LUTHERAN CHURCH, LUNDQUIST CHAPEL, 2499 N. Helen St., North St. Paul, with visitation one hour prior to service at church. Interment Acacia Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to St. Mark’s Lutheran Church.
