NEW BEDFORD – Scott Simons, age 50 of New Bedford, passed away on Monday, Jan. 28, 2019, as the result of a work related accident. He was the son of William & Rosemary (Barboza) Simons. Scott was currently working as a roofer for Diversified Roofing Co. of New Bedford. Scott was an avid gun collector, a member of the N.R.A., and enjoyed motorcycle riding.
Scott was the father of the late Troy John Simons and the brother of William Simons Jr. (wife Diane) of Swansea, Chad Simons (wife Susan) of Berkley, and Jacqueline Tracy of New Bedford; the beloved uncle to Alex, Brandon, Alyssa, Will, Ryan, Jordan, Sequoia, Kayla, Lexi, and Ava.
Scott’s Memorial Service will take place in the Manuel Rogers & Sons Funeral Home, Inc. 1521 N. Main St. Fall River on Saturday, Feb. 2nd at 11:00 A.M. Interment will be private. Calling hours on Friday, Feb. 1st from 5:00-8:00 P.M. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Scott’s memory to the American Cancer Society, P.O.
