WEBSTER –Elizabeth J. “Betty” LaRocque, 60, of South Main St., died Friday, Dec. 23, at home after being stricken ill.
She leaves two aunts, Jeannette Millette of Port St. Lucie, FL, and Florence M. Shaw of Webster; a goddaughter, Laura Lempicki of Brighton; and many cousins.
She was born in Webster, the daughter of Joseph R. And Doris T. (Morse) LaRocque and lived here all her life. She graduated from Bartlett High School in 1963.
Miss LaRocque first worked at Riley Stocker Company in Worcester and then was a clerk at Webster First Federal Credit Union. She was a data processor at Hubbard Regional Hospital for several years, reitiring in 2000.
She was a life member of Sacred Heart of Jesus Church and a member of its Ladies of Saint Anne Sodality. She loved baking, her church, and family and friends. The family would like to thank the healthcare givers that provided such excellent support and encouragement for Betty in the last few years.
The funeral will be held Saturday, Dec. 31, from Sitkowski & Malboeuf Funeral Home, 340 School St., with a Mass at 10:00 AM in Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, 16 East Main St. Burial will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery. A calling period will be from 8:15 to 9:15 AM Saturday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to St. Anne Elementary School, 12 Day St., PO Box 818, Webster, MA 01570-0818
